The Loyalty Game: How far would you go?

Have you ever heard of loyalty testers? These undercover agents are hired to tempt partners and expose the truth behind relationships.
At a recent media conference for Prime Video’s much-anticipated series "The Loyalty Game," Creative Manager Jay Fernando pulled back the curtain on a real-world phenomenon: loyalty testers—individuals paid to put romantic relationships to the ultimate test.
"Loyalty testers truly exist," Jay explained. "They became a viral sensation on social media, especially during the lockdowns of 2020."
He elaborated, "Imagine this: women hiring other women—or even men—to flirt with their significant others, all to uncover the truth about fidelity. A loyalty tester is paid to seduce, to spark temptation, and ultimately to reveal if a partner will remain true or stray."
"So, while loyalty testers are real, our series 'The Loyalty Game' dives deep into this world—building its story around the secrets, risks, and emotional stakes of loyalty testing."
Jay shared, "Two of our writers even infiltrated online chat groups, reaching out to women who work as loyalty testers. They uncovered tales of daring schemes, emotional fallout, and the hidden dangers that come with this unusual job."
Actress Janine Gutierrez confessed her astonishment upon learning that loyalty testers were real.
"I couldn't believe there were actual Facebook groups for this!" Janine exclaimed. "It makes the story even more thrilling, knowing it’s grounded in reality. You start to wonder—what kind of person would hire a loyalty tester, and why? The whole premise is so intriguing."
Veteran actress Carmina Villarroel, on the other hand, admitted the concept unsettled her.
"I had no idea loyalty testers existed—it honestly scared me," Carmina admitted. "Like Janine said, what kind of person would hire someone to test their partner? For me, it’s a sign of lost trust. And who are these testers, anyway? They’re playing with people’s emotions—it’s such a strange job."
