Chinese period drama 'Tigers Sniff the Rose' now streaming on Disney+ Philippines

 


Disney+ announced that the eagerly awaited Chinese period drama Tigers Sniff the Rose has started streaming on Disney+ Philippines.

Blossom stars Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui reunite in the latest drama. Tigers Sniff the Rose follows the unlikely relationship between Princess Mu Wanyao and common-born scholar Yan Shang. Together, the pair will navigate their emotions and the imperial court's turbulent power struggles, hoping to resolve a national crisis and bring lasting peace and prosperity to the realm.


Starring Meng Ziyi (Blossom, The Untamed) as Princess Mu Wanyao and Li Yunrui (Blossom, Love Like the Galaxy) as Yan Shang, a brilliant but humble court official, Tigers Sniff the Rose is directed by Qin Zhen (Lost You Forever, Love Scenery) and adapted for the screen by He Fang (Till the End of the Moon, Blossoms in Adversity).

Tigers Sniff the Rose is the latest Chinese-language series to be announced as part of the ever-expanding library of APAC content now available on Disney+. Fans of Chinese-language series can sign up for Disney+ today to enjoy immediate access to Small & Mighty, about a crafty lawyer whose life gets turned upside down when a young boy appears and begins to call him “Dad”, while fans of period dramas can also look forward to upcoming Korean titles The Remarried Empress starring Shin Mina and Ju Jihoon, as well as Portraits of Delusion starring Suzy and Kim Seonho.

Tigers Sniff the Rose started streaming on Disney+ on October 23.
