ABS-CBN Studios and Prime Video's collaborative series "The Silent Noise" won Best Asian Content at the Global OTT Awards 2026 in South Korea, held last June 20. The limited-series mystery-thriller has bested entries from Thailand, Japan, China, and Taiwan. Critics touted it for using silence as a powerful storytelling tool and for balancing gripping suspense with emotional depth. Its show director, Onat Diaz, received the award on the show's behalf, expressing gratitude to the award-giving body and to those who made the show possible. "Winning this award will be very meaningful and encouraging for our team in the Philippines because it reaffirms our belief in fearlessly telling our stories with much passion, and creates genuine interactions with our audiences that will cut across borders in different territories," Onat shared in his acceptance speech.
