MTRCB earns 7th Consecutive Unmodified COA Opinion
The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) received an Unmodified Opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for 2025, marking the seventh consecutive year the agency has received the highest audit opinion from the state auditor. In its Annual Audit Report (AAR) transmitted to the MTRCB dated 02 June 2026, COA affirmed that the Agency’s financial statements fairly present, in all material respects, its financial position, financial performance, cash flows, and changes in net assets/equity in accordance with applicable government accounting standards. The audit was conducted in compliance with the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIs) and covered the Agency’s financial reporting, compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and implementation of prior audit recommendations.
