White Party Manila: A night of Pride, purpose, and progress

White Party Manila, once the Philippines’ largest and most iconic Pride celebration, has made a powerful and vibrant comeback—ushering in a new era for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. The recent event, held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on June 27, marked not just a celebration, but a bold statement of unity, acceptance, and renewed commitment to advocacy.

A Night of Giving and Solidarity

One of the most memorable highlights was the presentation of a P1 million check by Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and Bryan Dy of Mentorque Productions to LoveYourself, led by Dr. Ronivin G. Pagtakhan. This generous donation will directly support HIV awareness, testing, and care initiatives, cementing Pride’s role as a force for both celebration and protection.

Themed “REIGNITE,” this year’s White Party Manila was a collaboration between LoveYourself and Mentorque Productions. Notably, part of the event’s proceeds will help advance HIV awareness and promote stigma-free healthcare—reminding everyone that Pride is about both visibility and responsibility.

A Star-Studded Celebration

The atmosphere was electric as celebrities and performers took the stage, all volunteering their time and talent in support of the cause. Bryan Dy praised the outpouring of solidarity, sharing that every celebrity performed without compensation—a testament to the spirit of Pride and community. With such an overwhelming turnout, Bryan promised that White Party Manila would return in 2027, aiming to become the official annual celebration for Filipino Pride.

Messages of Hope and Progress

Performers and guests alike shared messages of hope for the future. Ice Seguerra, joined by partner Liza Dino, reflected on society’s growing acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community, noting the progress made in visibility and inclusion. Manila Mayor Isko Moreno declared Manila a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals, emphasizing equality for all and pledging to combat discrimination within the city.

The night featured a dazzling lineup: KaladKaren of TV5 hosted, Marina Summers energized the crowd, and MAKI wowed with a spectacular performance. Other musical acts included Ben&Ben and Gloc-9. Vice Ganda headlined the finale of streetwear designer Bang Pineda’s fashion show, joined by a host of stars and rising models. The SexBomb Girls were honored as Gay Icon of the Year, while several Metro Manila mayors were recognized as Outstanding Allies of 2026.

The Essence of White Party Manila

For Vice Ganda, the return of White Party Manila is about more than just celebration—it’s about authenticity, courage, and joy. “Seeing a sea of beautiful individuals, solid and united for a common goal, is a powerful experience,” Vice shared. The Mentorque team echoed this sentiment, noting that Vice perfectly embodies the event’s mission as they reignite the spirit of Pride through celebration, community, and purpose.
