Award-winning actress Bea Alonzo and Puregold President Vincent Co have officially married in a quiet and intimate ceremony at Makati City Hall. The news came to light on July 14, when Makati Mayor Nancy Binay posted a photo with Bea from her office, playfully captioning it “Coffee w/ coffeemate” and adding the hashtag #OneMoreChance—a nod to one of Bea’s most iconic films.

According to a Facebook Reel posted by entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz, the couple exchanged vows at Makati City Hall on Monday, July 13, at 7 p.m. The ceremony was so private that neither Vincent nor Bea’s family members were present. Only the owners of Secosana, a well-known bag brand, attended the event, underscoring the exclusivity of the occasion. Bea, who currently manages her travel essentials brand Bash, was all smiles in the wedding photo that Ogie reported seeing, along with the couple’s marriage certificate.

The surprise wedding follows months of speculation and shifting plans. Earlier, in May 2026, reports surfaced that Vincent and Bea had called off their much-anticipated wedding in Spain. The couple’s marriage banns had been published at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Manila back in March, a formality in Catholic weddings that serves as a public notice of the upcoming nuptials. Traditionally, these banns are posted in both the bride’s and groom’s parishes for three consecutive Sundays to ensure there are no impediments to the marriage.

Bea and Vincent’s relationship first sparked rumors in May 2025, when they vacationed together in Spain. Observant netizens pieced together clues from their social media posts, noting similar locations and outfits in photos shared by both Bea and Vincent. In July, the couple made their first major public appearance together at the Puregold OPM Con 2025 event at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, cementing their status as a high-profile pair. The following month, Bea confirmed their relationship in an exclusive GMA interview, saying, “I think it's very obvious that we're together, and I'm happy. I think that is all I can share.”

With their intimate City Hall wedding, Bea and Vincent have proven that sometimes, love’s biggest moments happen away from the spotlight.
