Alexa Ilacad portrays her boldest role in iWant's new original 'Miss Behave'

Kapamilya actress Alexa Ilacad plays her most mature role yet in "Miss Behave," the newest original series from iWant, the home of Filipino stories—further building anticipation with its recent Blue Carpet Premiere ahead of the show's June 3 premiere.

She will play the role of Marla Briones, a straight-A student whose life will be upended due to the spread of her private content in school. Also top-billing are Xyriel Manabat, Reign Parani, Andi Abaya, and Rans Rifol, whose characters are also entangled in the viral leaks fallout. Together, they will plot to find out the mysterious figure behind the leaks and put an end to their misery.

"We made it with so much heart and pure intentions. Inaalay namin ito sa lahat ng kabataan at kababaihan na dumanas sa pinagdaanan ng mga karakter namin. This is for the victims and survivors of such incidents," Alexa shared during the show's Blue Carpet Premiere.

Beyond its mystery and revenge-fueled story, "Miss Behave" highlights women's empowerment as the girls band together to reclaim their voices and rise above the anguish caused by the scandal. The story goes beyond fiction as the characters' experiences are relatable to the real-life struggles of women dealing with similar trauma.

"Dapat mapanood ito ng maraming tao kasi bukod sa tema ng aming palabas, it's very relevant now. The issues that we are tackling are happening in real-life. Our show is a safe zone for everybody," said "Miss Behave" director Ivan Andrew Payawal.
