'Makatanong:' Michelle Dee's bold new anthem



Miss Universe Philippines 2023, Michelle Marquez Dee (MMD), embarks on a dynamic new musical chapter with “Makatanong”—an R&B-pop single that boldly addresses the turmoil caused by intrusive questions.
Penned by MMD, “Makatanong” emerges as a striking follow-up to her debut single, “Reyna.” The track embodies female empowerment, centering on a woman who reclaims her narrative and asserts her identity.
MMD stepped into the music spotlight last year, releasing her first single, “Reyna,” through a groundbreaking partnership between ABS-CBN Music and GMA.

“Reyna” quickly climbed into the top 5 of Spotify Philippines’ Viral Songs Chart, amassing more than two million streams and featuring on major editorial playlists like OPM Rising and Viral Hits Philippines. The single also appeared in several episodes of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” while MMD was a house guest.

Filipino-American actor Matt Evans has said that he appreciates his mother and his family more these days with the help of his afternoon teleserye "The Greatest Love" aired weekdays on ABS-CBN.
