In August 2025, when asked why he looks happy and content, Aljur said he owes everything to the Lord. "Sa buhay naman walang madali as long as you do it with Him. (In life, nothing is as easy as long as you do it with Him.) He will give you that comfort and happiness."

Aljur stated that he has a positive relationship with actress Kylie Padilla, with whom he shares two children. They were married from 2018 to 2021, but their marriage ended reportedly due to Aljur's infidelity. 

Both stars have since moved on from their past. Aljur also mentioned that he has no regrets about marrying Kylie.
