For years, music fans have turned to Princess Velasco to breathe new life into their favorite songs. She released a series of acoustic cover albums, reimagining familiar tracks with her unique voice, emotional depth, and a keen sense of each song's heart. At a press conference for the upcoming concert “Sessionistas: The Playlist,” happening at The Theater at Solaire on August 22, Princess reflected on her journey as a cover artist. Sessionistas: The Playlist hits the Theatre at Solaire on August 22.  It’s less a concert, more a soundtrack to everyone’s 20s Millennials are deep in their nostalgia era, bringing back the songs, the shows, the references that built them. Sessionistas: The Playlist is built squarely for that moment, and for the six voices who scored it. The concert lands at the Theatre at Solaire on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 8 PM, bringing together Ice Seguerra, Sitti, Nyoy Volante, Kean Cipriano, Princess Velasco, and Juris for a night built around the songs that soundtracked a generation’s heartbreaks, barkada road trips, first loves, and 2 AM drives home. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketworld. This isn’t a tribute show or an OST concert in the conventional sense, however. The premise runs deeper than a trip down memory lane: these songs never actually left. They’re still playing in the background of people’s lives, whether in the playlists they didn’t curate on purpose, or the one that bui...
