From Tom Cruise to TXT: MTRCB clears packed movie lineup for Filipino fans
Action legends, K-pop idols, anime favorites, zombie thrillers, and even sparkling vampires are all heading to Philippine cinemas as the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) reviewed a colorful new lineup of films and special screenings for moviegoers this season. Leading the nostalgia wave is the return of Top Gun, which celebrates its 40th anniversary with an exclusive screening at SM Cinemas. The iconic action film stars Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, and Val Kilmer, and was classified PG. Adding to the throwback fever is the upcoming Twilight Movie Marathon, also exclusive to SM Cinemas, giving Filipino fans another chance to relive the vampire romance phenomenon that once dominated pop culture. K-pop and concert fans are also getting their moment on the big screen with TXT MOA CON IN JAPAN: Live Viewing, featuring global boy group Tomorrow X Together, or TXT. The concert film was rated PG.
