Leaders of the Filipino-Chinese community announced on March 12 the P100 million donation worth of medical supplies to the Department of Health (DoH)  for the prevention of COVID-19 in the Philippines. Henry Lim Bon Liong, president of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), made the announcement during the Pandesal Forum of Kamuning Bakery Cafe in Quezon City. "To support the Philippine government's prevention and control efforts against COVID-19, we are donating P100 million worth of medical supplies to help the Department of Health with testing kits and other paraphernalia," said Liong when he read the statement.
